Conferencia inaugural “Abrir caminos” con Camille Froidevaux-Metterie, Asma Mhalla, Michaël Foessel

To open the series, this conference brings together three voices who, from different perspectives, reflect on our present. This convergence of viewpoints, facilitated by Tomás Balmaceda, aims to interrogate the contemporary world through three key transformations: those of the subject, of power, and of democracy, in order to forge new paths together. In a context marked by the rise of digital technologies, the reconfiguration of identities, and current political tensions, the discussion focuses on how to envision new courses of action. Between feminist struggles that redefine forms of experience and autonomy, the advancement of technological infrastructures that reshape power relations, and the crises facing contemporary democracies, this dialogue seeks to articulate these different levels of analysis. The objective is not only to understand these shifts but also to identify, from their intersection, possible ways to imagine more open and sustainable futures.
