1965 El Camino Project Update + Family Cruise to a Car Show

In this episode of Broken Bolt Garage, I’m giving everyone an update on what I’ve been up to lately and where we currently stand with the 1965 El Camino project. Over the last few weeks I’ve been spending a lot of time helping friends and family with their projects, but that doesn’t mean progress has stopped in the garage. We take a look at the latest work completed on the El Camino including seat bracket fabrication, seat installation, cam and lifter replacement, timing chain installation, gasket cleanup, and getting everything ready for the next phase. You’ll also hear the latest update on the 1970 Camaro after installing a full exhaust system and get to join us for a local car show. My youngest daughter, oldest daughter, and my wife all brought their own rides, making for a great family cruise and a fun day surrounded by classic cars. We finish the day with a recap of what went well, what still needs attention, and what’s next for these projects. If you enjoy classic car restoration, project updates, family car adventures, and honest garage content, be sure to subscribe and follow along as we continue bringing these old cars back to life.
