La política económica de la dictadura
In this interview, we welcome Reto Bertoni, PhD in Economic History and professor at the University of the Republic (Udelar), to analyze in depth the economy during the civic-military dictatorship in Uruguay. From a historical perspective, we address the context leading up to the coup, the economic model established by the authoritarian regime and its various stages, paying particular attention to the policies implemented in financial, productive, and wage matters.
