By introducing HybridDigital™ amplification into the C368, NAD engineers deviated from the established tradition of using a traditional, current-inefficient Class AB output stage and developed circuits based on Class D switching amplifiers. This allowed the NAD C368 to incorporate specially designed circuits utilizing a modified version of the proven Hypex UcD output stage. This solution allows for exceptionally precise audio reproduction and a substantial, distortion- and noise-free power output of 80 W per channel, which in specific cases can reach up to 120 W peak. Furthermore, the NAD C368 is the first model in the manufacturer's hierarchy to utilize MDC modules, which can be easily added to it. This allows the NAD C368 to become an amplifier supporting the BluOS wireless Hi-Fi ecosystem and serve as a multimedia powerhouse for high-resolution files.
