#SextouComNR - Tudo que você precisa saber sobre a NR-3 EMBARGO OU INTERDIÇÃO

Welcome to a new chapter of our #SextouComNR web series. Every Friday, we'll cover one of our Regulatory Standards, in ascending order to avoid confusion. Of course, you can access our content any day, any time, but know that every Friday we'll have a fresh, new episode on one of our NRs. This is our third episode, so we'll cover our third standard, known as NR-3, which governs "EMBARGO OR INTERDICTION." Before we delve into the technical aspects of the standard, let's review some definitions of the terms used, as it's crucial to understand their meanings. Serious and imminent risk: any work condition or situation that can cause an accident or illness with serious injury to the worker. Embargo: total or partial shutdown of a construction project. Interdiction: total or partial shutdown of activities, machinery, equipment, service sector, or establishment. Therefore, embargoes and closures are emergency measures adopted when a certain situation is detected in the workplace (a situation of serious and imminent risk). These are not punitive measures, but rather preventive measures, specifically to prevent workers from being exposed to risks considered serious and imminent.
