New version with remastered audio and full stereo is available here :    • The Sound - Live in Madrid 1984 (Remastered)   The original video was a 4th generation recording in MPEG2 format, with an aspect ratio of 3:2 (720x480) encoded in NTSC (256Kbps Dual Mono audio). Since the original footage was made in the PAL system, which has fewer frames per second but a better colour quality and higher resolution, I decided to present it in 16:9 . The original video rip was in a such a bad state that I had to cut the colour saturation in 53% for the Red Channel and about 38% for the Blue. The brightness was increased in 17% . Now all is left to do is to remaster the sound to true stereo and fine tuning some colour parameters, like the individual RGB gain and offset values, and crop the video to real 16:9 aspect ratio. The original audio was kept, since each one can adjust the frequency levels according to personal tastes. Wim Wenders once said : "Never use red beams when you are filming - it will always appear to be out of focus. I used red lighting in some scenes of Paris Texas and it served me as a lesson for the future." I'm afraid he's absolutely right.
