TNT: EVILUTION - DEAN OF DOOM - S1E1

Welcome to Dean of Doom, the show where we give grades to classic and contemporary Doom wads. Why? Because ranking things is fun! Today’s episode will be dedicated to the first half of 1996’s Final Doom: TNT Evilution, developed by TeamTNT. This wad is of special significance to me because it’s actually the first Doom I ever played. For whatever reason, my Dad owned Final Doom, but not Doom 2 or the original Doom, so for a long time I thought TNT was the original. Anyway, TNT made a huge impression on me, and still kind of sits as the standard against which other wads I play are measured. Let’s see how it holds up.
