Only One Person Had Beaten Connecticut’s “Big Hooker” Pizza Challenge with Seconds to Spare!!

American pro eater Randy Santel and competitive eater Jerome Burns ‪@Mileshuggah‬ each versus Thomas Hooker Brewery's "Big Hooker" 16-Inch Pizza Challenge hosted by Thomas Hooker Brewery in Bloomfield, Connecticut which is northwest of Hartford, CT of New England in the Northeast United States!! A few days after finishing my trip to Eastern Tennessee, I traveled to Boston, Massachusetts to begin a New England food challenge tour that included eleven (11) huge and delicious eating challenges around most of the New England states. For man vs food challenge #7, I headed with ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ to the Thomas Hooker Brewery location in Bloomfield, Connecticut so we could each attempt one of their two "Big Hooker" Food Challenges available!! Katina went first and attempted their burger challenge. After she was finished, my competitive eating friend Jerome Burns ‪@Mileshuggah‬ and I each attempted their "Big Hooker" 16-Inch Pizza Challenge. We each had just 25 minutes to eat a 16" diameter pizza made with 1lb of dough, 1lb of sauce, 1lb of cheese, a 1lb mixture of pepperoni, sausage, and bacon, and then a 1lb combo of grilled peppers and onions. We each also had to drink a 16oz pint of beer or seltzer from their menu. We were trying to become the second and third people to finish everything within 25 minutes to win our $40 pizza meals free, sweet t-shirts to add to our collections, $25 gift cards to be used later, and our names & photos posted up on Thomas Hooker Brewery's Wall of Fame!!
