A soldier with the call sign "Lonely" signed a voluntary contract with the Ministry of Defense and in the spring of 2023, he was sent as an assault trooper to one of the most difficult and restricted areas of the Northern Military District – the Kupyansk sector. He spent six months storming Ukrainian Armed Forces fortifications as part of a detachment of prisoners. These guys dismantled the notorious "Kraken" national battalion. After being wounded for the fourth time, "Lonely" was demobilized. What motivates these guys to risk their lives when freedom is just around the corner? The footage shows him less than a month after his return from the front lines. His arms and legs are covered in shrapnel, and his hands are in casts. Over these nearly two years, "Lonely" has recovered and moved to the South, providing humanitarian aid to the fighters.
