Astor Piazzolla: Tango „Retrato de Alfredo Gobbi“ (for piano solo) - with score

Performed by Christian Dillig (piano) Retrato de Alfredo Gobbi translates as Portrait of Alfredo Gobbi. Gobbi (1912-1965) was a well-known Argentinian violinist, band leader and tango composer. After his death, Astor Piazzolla (1921 - 1992) composed a tribute to his predecessor. Like Piazzolla, Gobbi had also previously developed the Argentine tango further.
