2024 02 11 Yaesu FT 2000 vs Icom ic 7300

It's all about the reception capabilities and the filters of these two radios. Have in mind that Yaesu was first introduced in 2007 and the Icom in 2016. In this video both radios share the same long wire antenna (tuned for this frequency using a coupler) and they both have the same filter settings (2,4kHz). Never the less the noise filters on the Yaesu are better, as you can hear, despite it's age, the final audio is way better than the Icom's. There is no paid promotion for any of these radios, both have been purchased by me.
