CELEBRITY FOOTBALL MATCH WELSHPOOL 1986
Sunday 16th March 1986 saw the very first celebrity football match at the Recreation Grounds Welshpool featuring the Show Biz XI. Stars turning out that day for the Show Biz XI were - 60s pop idol & actor Jess Conrad, TV Personality Jeremy Beadle, Stuntman Eddie Kidd, Boxer John H Stracey, Actor Michael McNally, Actor Roy Holder, Rudy & Brian Grant (Reggae singers & brothers to Eddy).
