Chad Harberts Show - Scott Heitland Dallas Center Grimes Head Football Coach

Coach Scott Heitland talks about his journey to becoming a Head Coach at Dallas Center Grimes (DCG) in 2003. He shared some great details on how the DCG community and booster club has supported the Mustang Football Team as they have moved up 2 football classes and last year made the jump to 5A,over the last two decades. Coach Heitland comes from a legendary Iowa HS Coaching tree. His dad was a longtime football coach at Algona, IA and he started his coaching career for the legendary Ed Thomas at Aplington Parkersburg while still in college. His career led him to Prairie Valley and Boone before becoming the HC for DCG in 2023.
