I am either setting camera traps to reveal the secrets or searching for birds to record their songs. On this particular trip, I noticed there had been a disturbance in the forest. There were feathers everywhere, a tell tale sign that a bird of prey had been at work. Luckily I had a camera trap which I carefully positioned on the trunk of a pine tree A few days later I returned to see several hits on the camera An adult goshawk nicknamed the phantom of the forest was busy plucking the feathers off a pigeon carcass A few attempts were made to fly off with the meal ,maybe too heavy Alas the sd card was full and I never did see the outcome I will return and share with you more forest secrets Thanks for watching
