The Association of Priests of the Prado, founded by Antonio Chevrier, a priest of the Diocese of Lyon (France), is a Secular Institute for the evangelization of the poor. José Joaquín Castellón, priest and parish priest of San José Obrero in San Juan de Aznalfarache (Seville), is the new head of the Association of Priests of the Prado in Spain. In this interview, he speaks to us about this service based on dedication and the Gospel. Blessed Antonio Chevrier (1826-1879), founder of this association, felt the call to follow Jesus Christ more closely and to join with other priests to walk together in the footsteps of the one Shepherd and Teacher, understanding from the beginning that the practice of the evangelical counsels was absolutely necessary for the shepherd of souls.
