"This presentation aims to facilitate a conversation about the role of Landscape Architecture in our urban environment. The education and practice of Landscape Architecture is multidisciplinary by nature… we are designers, but sometimes we also have to be facilitators, lawyers, environmentalists, economists, scientists, engineers… Through a couple of my projects, I will narrate my professional journey, which has helped me change my perception of our work as multidisciplinary designers, and has also allowed me to witness how our communities have changed in recent decades, learning to appreciate their environment more comprehensively, and—even more importantly—the social responsibility we each have to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our cities."
