Setting up for Spring at The Saskatoon Farm

In the early spring our efforts are labour heavy as we sow seeds, plant annuals and prepare for the bounty to come. Establishing a strong foundation each year determines the prosperity to come, both short and long term. This year we planted around 100,00 flowering annual plugs, just as many vegetable seeds for our fields and welcomed another 3 calves to the group. Martin and Gonzalo take us through the preparation of a traditional Mexican dish, Birria. A well loved staple in our restaurant. Our next video will see those same seeds transplanted into our soils and the garden centre overflowing with vibrant flowers.
