Maiden arrival of Container Ship "CMA CGM Jean Mermoz" 2018 Build Southampton 08/07/18

Early this morning on the 8th July 2018 the brand new container ship build 2018 "CMA CGM Jean Mermoz" seen here on her maiden arrival into Southampton's Container Port from her last port call of Algeciras. The tugs on duty for her were the Lomax, Svitzer Tugs Alma & Eston. She was officially handed over to CMA CGM from the shipyard in May of this year. She is capable of carrying 20,954 normal sized containers she has a crew of 26 a service speed of 22knts is 400m in length a Beam of 59m a Draft of 16.00 and her GT is 217,673 Suez GT 223,530.
