For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Luke 11:33-36 33 “No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it is hidden, or under a bowl. Instead, they put it on a lampstand, so that those who come in may see the light. 34 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body is full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your body is full of darkness. 35 Therefore, be careful that the light within you is not darkness.” 36 So if your whole body is full of light, having no part of it in darkness, it will be completely bright, as when a lamp shines its light on you.
