I entered the most dangerous area, where traffickers make the law, people inject drugs in broad daylight, and the police look on helplessly. I was assaulted by the mafia and captured shocking images of the degradation of humanity: hundreds of people live like "zombies", sleeping on the streets and surviving among tents and misery. Most of them once had a normal life – teachers, workers, students – but were abandoned by the system and pushed to despair.
