Shooshla! – Khegga Yaqura

The AJM NRW presents the sixth video of its project Shooshla! – Khegga Yakura. This project aims to support you in #arriving in Assyrian dance culture. With this video, we want to preserve our Assyrian dance culture digitally and sustainably, while giving dance enthusiasts the opportunity to join in. Khegga Yakura is one of the most popular and well-known dances of all time. It has been danced since around 500 B.C. Back then, warriors danced it to show that the battle had been won and the territory had been conquered. We hope you enjoy the video! Here you can find songs with the right rhythm to keep dancing: 🔗    • Assyrian music - Khigga Yaqoora only Zurna...   Support us on our social media channels: 📌 AJM NRW 📷 Instagram:   / ajmnrw   📘 Facebook:   / ajmnrw   🌐 Website: https://ajm-nrw.org A huge thank you to djoNRW for making this project possible under the #AnnualMotto "histories.
