Προαστιακός Σιδηρόδρομος Πατρών...πλάνα μεταξύ του σταθμού του Αγ.Ανδρέα και του Αγ.Βασιλείου. Ξεκινώντας από τον Αγ.Ανδρέα και τα παλιά οχήματα του Πελοποννησιακού δικτύου, δείχνοντας την αντίθεση μεταξύ της ομορφιάς του προηγούμενου αιώνα και της "ουδετερότητας" του σήμερα. Συνεχίζουμε με πλάνα από τα προαστιακά δρομολόγια σε διάφορα σημεία της διαδρομής (αστικής κυρίως)...ο Προαστιακός Πατρών, μία από τις πιο επιτυχημένες μεταφορές στη χώρα, έχει "αγκαλιαστεί" από χιλιάδες ανθρώπους που καθημερινά κινούνται με αυτόν. Patra is the third most populated city in Hellas, and the biggest city of Peloponnese. It is a freight and cultural center with one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean and a very famous university. The Suburban Railway of Patra is one of the three still operational lines in the metric gauge network. A very successful attempt that started in 2010 and since then thousands of people are using this friendly mean of transport. The line is serviced by Stadler RailBus GTW 2/6 railcars and the stations of the route are Ag.Andreas, Patra (Central), Panachaiki stadium, Aghiia, Bozaitika, Kastelokambos, Rion and Ag.Vasilios. At Ag.Andreas station are stabled and abandoned old Romanian and German passenger cars and some "historic" waggons date back in early 20th century. All of these are going to get scrapped in the following months except for Alstom 9204. So we start the video creating a contrast between the old glory of Peloponnesian Railways and the 21st century's monotony.
