CCR Gag Straps

For a number of years, CCR diving has become so much more of a practical, somewhat reliable and accessible transport to get divers where they want to be, but we still haven't managed to download a program to our busy and preoccupied brains that keeps us from diligence or making the occasional mistake. Try as we may, we are not infallible and need to protect ourselves from things we wish we could ultimately control. Analyzing statistics we can learn how to be better, keep our skills in routine condition and configure ourselves to be safer divers. "Gag Straps" have long been talked about, but they're just not that cool, comfortable or convenient. Those who believe they're a life saver wear them, because in essence they are. Similarly when seatbelts in cars were not cool back in the 60s, now for the last few decades, audible alarms indicate when it's illegal to drive off without wearing one, thus saving lives. Back to diving, with this simple little idea, you can still be cool and be safer...
