Thorough Solo Playthrough of Turok 2 COOP Mod on Hard Mode: Level 6 (Primagen's Lightship 1/4)

Continuing on from level 5, I go to the final level, Primagen's Lightship next. Clarifying notes for this run: Every recorded video goes to the next checkpoint in which I save. This is like the old N64 days when you could only save at checkpoints. I will not save at the same checkpoint multiple times, my play/recording is until the next checkpoint with one exception: The exception: There's a Hub that updates every time you beat a level, so I will save there only after I beat each level once. I will only reuse it to save after another level is beaten. I do every level in order. I have hints turned off as to replicate how it was back when it was on the N64. I will not use cheats or exploits to get through levels, only what you can get from playing the game. That said, some mod differences do exist that let you get some stuff early you couldn't in the original. Although rare, I do sometimes get killed. Some parts in the mod are more difficult than they look and I'm not practicing or recording multiple times to make my plays seem flawless. This is me playing, just carefully and slowly. I rewatch my recordings before I record the next one and, occasionally, notice I may have overlooked something. This means at the start of the next recording, you may see me go back real quick to go after what I missed. I try not to miss anything, but it happens. By the time I'm finished with the game, everything should have been found. This recording is about the original Turok 2 maps and final boss. There are extra maps once you beat the main game the mod adds. I'm not sure if I'll include videos and recording on those yet. I'll decide later. I'm playing on a controller which doesn't seem to let me do the actual diagonal movement/jumps. This level: In my opinion, this final level is one of the easiest levels in the game, with the exception of the boss. Unlike levels 2, 4, and 5, its not that big nor do I feel like it's very confusing. There is one enemy that, especially in groups, can be pretty dangerous, but as long as you're careful when fighting them, and not get close, this level is mostly just about going around the four areas and coming back. If you have all the powers, you can access the four areas that'll unlock the force field and give you the primagen key. If not, you need to come back. That said, you might have noticed that boss kicked my butt. I probably could have redid and lost less lives, but as long as it's less than 9 (like the original N64 game as you can only have 9 lives and go around for more life force to restock again), I find it acceptable loss. It's not a boss I'm good at fighting, particularly its final form. The first form, it's mostly just jumping to the side when she attacks and taking out her arms. The second form, you're getting the arms again. The third form you're in danger staying close and far, I couldn't quite find the right balance. No less, my ammo gets exhausted then I'm struggling to find a weapon I can still use as you're trying to hit her face. It's also difficult to restock at the spawns while running and trying to avoid, especially with that suction. For missables... I don't know, I don't feel anything is really too missable here. As long as you don't forget to explore the water (should be a given), you'll find the regular secrets, and just look around at every place, you'll find it all. Maybe collecting the blue and red crystals could be seen as the easiest to overlook. The Oblivion token is probably the hardest to find. You're able to see when you finally get Mark of the Origin it gives you a clue when its near. You just jump on the platforms after destroying the third plant and you'll find it. It's one of the easiest tokens to find and get in my opinion. Also, before finishing the boss, I played unrecorded to explore everything just to check if I missed anything. Seems I missed a few small items, flashlight, one red life force, a small area I forgot to explore with 2 hp, and two weapon pickups, so I went back and grabbed those. I looked back in the recordings and saw I overlooked some, thought I'd go back for others. Either way, with that, I should have completely found everything, one of my main goals.
