When it comes to the Pokemon generation that introduced the greatest proportion of underwhelming Pokemon, I think we can all agree that it’s undisputably Generation 2. In the original Pokemon Gold and Silver, many of them were useless baby forms, very mediocre in stats, or just unnecessarily bad. Over the years, a lot of these Pokemon got the big upgrades they needed in the form of better movesets or evolutions, but there are still a lot of them that suffer horribly in their native games.
