Today I created this jig that, cheaply, easily, and perfectly solves the problem, as I show in this video, the cuts are smooth, straight, precise, and perfect (better than what I get on my panel saw when dealing with long cuts and working alone). The best part is that it's much safer than any panel saw, and you can cut strips smaller than a panel saw can.
