We met a local Filipino fisherman who told us he knew a hidden fishing spot deep in the jungle, so we followed him. No guide. No tourist trail. Just a local fisherman, a rough path through the trees, sharp rocks, and a secret cliff where people from the area go to fish. We had no idea where he was taking us or what we would find when we got there. We spent the day scouting new spots, hiking through the jungle, and trying to figure out how to catch fish in a completely unfamiliar place.
