Making Maple Syrup from Start to Finish | Wood-fired Cinder block Evaporator Boiling Sap #vlog

It's our second year collecting sap and boiling it down into syrup! To be honest we were sort of dreading the day long process of boiling it down to maybe get a gallon of syrup but by the end of the day we were grateful we put the time and effort into the process again and couldn't wait to do it again! If you're thinking about doing it yourself we would highly recommend it, just like anything else it takes some preparation and forethought but it can be a highly rewarding process! Not to mention it is one of the most awesome transformations on the farm as far as taking something and making it into food goes!
