This is an audio clip of a backstage simulcast of the Playboy Jazz Festival that I taped on cassette as it aired live on KKGO Jazz 105 FM radio in Los Angeles in June 1984. The host was the late great L.A. jazz radio D.J. Jim Gosa. He chats here with Master of Ceremonies Bill Cosby, musician Eric Bobo, and legendary jazz festival promoter and producer George Wein. There’s also some music from Dexter Gordon and Weather Report.
