Thank you for watching. June is birthday month in our family. My husband and I have birthdays just five days apart, so this time of year always feels a little special. In this vlog, I'm sharing the sekihan (Japanese red bean rice) I made when my husband came home, along with some ordinary moments leading up to our birthdays. Making sekihan every year is a family tradition that has been passed down in our family. I may not make it the same way it was done in the past, but I'm happy to continue the tradition in my own way. Making a lunch box for the first time in a while. Sharing dinner together. Spending everyday life with our cats. And a small birthday celebration after dinner.
