I BOUGHT A GAS POWERED WASHING MACHINE TO DO MY LAUNDRY

Before widespread access for electricity people wanted an easier way to wash their clothes, and the Maytag Multi-Motor washing machine was that way. Invented in 1914 by Maytag, these gas powered wringer/washing machines were everywhere. They came with single cylinder engines, then two cylinders, then electric as they became the modern washing machines we know today. I bought this one from the Andover historical museum and today we're going to fix it and do some laundry the old school way.
