Budadiri residents celebrate the return of popular doctor
In Budadiri, huge crowds jubilated when they heard that a doctor who had been interdicted over allegations of not having a valid practicing licence had returned to work. Dr. Joseph Otuko’s interdiction on Friday caused anger among the locals, which resulted in running battles between them and the police. The locals had stormed the health centre and burnt most of the mattresses, and set 2 staff houses on fire.
