After widening our Raptor 700R to 50 inches wide a couple years back with our Raptor 700RR Project, we realized that our Raptor was now ready for a substantial horsepower increase. Starting with Fuel Customs, a company known for making big horsepower gains with their intakes and air filter combinations, recommended that we run a Barker's Performance dual exhaust to match their intakes quest to increase overrev while carrying the Raptor's incredible torque curve farther. We paired the Fuel Custom's intake and Barker's Performance exhaust with a Dynojet Power Commander V fuel and ignition tuner to match the increase airflow of the intake and exhaust with added fuel. We also installed a Dynojet Autotune for creating new fuel maps for our future engine upgrades. The result was an added 11-13 horsepower, a broader power and torque curve, and a huge boost in fun factor for our Raptor's engine. We haven't been this impressed with an intake, exhaust, and air/fuel ratio upgrade on a sport ATV since we installed our first set of pipes on a Yamaha Banshee back in the 1990s. If you haven't ridden a Raptor with the Big-3 engine upgrades, you have no idea how fun the Raptor really is.
