Prestressed Concrete Design - 5 - Response to Flexure
This is a video lecture for Prestressed Concrete Design. This video goes through the behavior of prestressed concrete members subjected to flexure. Layered-section and rectangular stress block approaches for determining moment-curvature response are covered. The moment-area approach for estimating deflections is also discussed. This lecture covers general concepts related to flexure and introduction to flexural behavior. Future modules will cover strain compatibility and force-in-the-tendon approaches for estimating stresses using linear elastic assumptions.
