Cold Steel SK-5 SRK-C: One Fix, Love It

In our latest episode of "Mike Hates Traction Coatings": My first SRK, based on a few recommendations, but the only C version I could find was the SK-5 with the "Black Tuff-Ex" coating, which immediately began making me crazy as I tried to use the thing. Thankfully, "Tuff-Ex" isn't very, so some quick work with a wire-wheel and scraper made it go away, revealing a pretty awesome small fixed blade for the price.
