Dr. Dave Cartledge has been a Companion Animal Veterinarian in Toronto, Brooklyn and Edmonton for many years. In his early work Dr. Cartledge did not have many veterinary pain medications, and he often used off-label human medications. Nowadays, we have effective veterinary pain specific medications and surgical procedures to alleviate pain for our beloved animals.
