After weeks of upgrades, wiring, and planning, we now have 5,400 watts feeding our system, and even on cloudy days we’re getting a little bit of charge trickling in. For off-grid winter living, that’s huge. This is a major milestone for us. In the winter we can go weeks without a full day of sun, so every watt counts. With the bunker now tied into the main array, we’re giving our batteries their best chance to stay topped up through the dark, cold months ahead.
