Mini Excavator throttle malfunction

From the very first time I started driving this Chinese mini excavator, which we bought sight unseen from an online auction, it has been very difficult to operate it without it jerking and lurching. Seasoned operator have told me in the comments of previous videos that I needed to slow the engine speed down to smooth out the movements, but I already had the throttle control on the lowest possible setting. After investigating why it would slow down, I found an interference issue under the hood. It was easy to fix. This video shows what the issue was, how I fixed it, and the resulting smoother ride.
