VW Touran (5T) Speaker Replacement

This video shows how to replace the front and rear speakers in a 2016 Volkswagen Touran. This is a second generation (Touran 2 or 5T) with component speakers in the front and rear. The door panel and A-pillar removal process is similar for other VWs of this era, including the Golf and Tiguan. I installed Focal IS VW 180 and IS VW 165 speakers. In order to do this, you need a 10 mm wrench, a Torx T-30 screwdriver, a drill and drill bit (for the old rivets), a pop rivet tool, a soldering iron, wire cutters, pliers, and a lot of patience. A panel removal tool is also useful. This is my first "modern car" speaker replacement project, so maybe more manufacturers use rivets and plastic welds to secure speakers nowadays, but it seems crazy to me. Cars from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000's were much easier.
