Trinidad Doubles Small Batch 🇹🇹 Recipe in the description
3 cups all purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tbsp yeast Pinch of turmeric or 1/2 tsp 2 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt 1 cup water 1 tbsp veg oil 2 cups vegetable oil for frying Mix all ingredients the first 7 ingredients together to make a very soft slightly sticky dough. Don’t over knead. Rub oil all over the dough. Let rest 1 hour or you can also mix and leave overnight at room temperature. Divide into 16 equal balls . Rub oil on surface to flatten into 6 inch rounds . Fry in hot oil 8-10 seconds.
