Vengeance is the worst 🤮

Sidestepping real server issues and dumbing down PVP, is Vengeance just the latest Project Blackbird for ZOS to waste our money on? More than 80% of ESO players don’t like Vengeance, and only 5% love it. Common complains include the way Vengeance “dumbs down” Cyrodiil to kindergarten-level and makes all the time you put into an optimized character irrelevant. On top of that, Vengeance started as a test but is now going to become permanent. Its aesthetics are awful, and being stuck with a preset build makes exploring Cyrodiil for achievements or as a PVE player distinctly uncomfortable. With the possibility that Vengeance might be intended to replace Gray Host and other Cyrodiil Campaigns, it’s time we carefully examined ESO Vengeance and got to the bottom of this potentially disastrous new game mode in The Elder Scrolls Online.
