Howzit gang, in this episode we take a trip to west Oahu. The INTRO: Before the main vid starts I drop in a action vid that happened right as I was recording the intro for this a couple days ago. Main vid: El Paco finally gets a day off in December and tells me he wants to break in the Penn Wrath combo I bought him for his 50th bday. I decide to take him to a rocky spot where we can do multiple types of fishing. Rainy overcast day, we get a lot of action but also a lot of issues--SMH! 😖. I show how and what "HOLD dunking" is--as I do it with the fishcam on. I also HANAPA'A while doing it!!! A pretty interesting sequence is caught on the fishcam a little later as I get 2 different hook ups on the same hook and bait on the same cast--but you will see what happens as I give the play by play! Paco goes through many typical rookie hardships as I try to teach him the best techniques, and it finally pays off!! Bruddah gets a dozer Hagi on the floater rig! So stoked for him! 🙏🏽. We finish the day off in a beautiful sandy cove, as we wanna just dunk in the lines and have a few 🍻 . We get a few strikes, but bust off---The fishcam once again catches some cool footage as I drop a 3 bait rig with blood meat, ika, and shrimp on it---you get to see what the fish prefer. Also many awesome underwater scenes as many species of fish come and attack my lines---and a nice size Omilu makes a cameo. The OUTRO: A lot of peeps been asking about the floats I use and where I get em--so I talk a little about them.
