Pushy Landlord

The plaintiff says his landlord, the defendant, told him she would enter his apartment whenever she pleased and threatened to report him to the police by claiming his rent came from drug money and that the unit smelled like marijuana. He says he moved out because of her behavior, and is suing because she refuses to return his security deposit. The defendant says the plaintiff moved out a month early, didn’t pay the last month’s rent, was difficult to deal with, left the apartment filthy, and failed to return the keys.
