CP Alco 1525 departs Vila Real for Lisbon in 2000
Caminhos de Ferro Portugueses (CP) Alco Class 15 No. 1525 departs Vila Real de Sto. António on the 16:20 for Lisbon on Monday 5th June 2000. These Alco 251C-12 locomotives were built in 1955 and this one carries the historic colours similar to those applied when new. This class numbered 25 and they were all re-engined at Barreiro Works between 1971 and 1978.
