26 New Topographics
The 1975 George Eastman house exhibition and catalog raised awareness of a new style of landscape photography. In the 1970's evolving their ideas from previous photographers, beliefs the New Topographic photographers mix ecological and social critique in their photo documents. Lewis Baltz, Robert Adams, Henry Wessel Jr., Stephen Shore, Frank Gohlke, Joe Deal, and Nick Nixon are featured.
