Multi-colour monotype monoprint garden composition with paper stencils
This must be my most complex monotype ever. I've been working on it off and on for 4 months! I must be mad! I've lost count of how many layers of ink there are. I'm using oil-based printing inks on BFK Rives 250gsm paper. The acrylic sheet is sometimes known as Perspex (UK) or Plexi-glas (US) I damp down the paper between each layer.
