Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and red buttercream . -Red velvet sponge All purpose flour 2 cups Baking powder 1 tsp Baking Soda 2 tsp Salt ½ tsp Cocoa Powder 1 tbsp Eggs 2 Oil ½ Cup Buttermilk 1 Cup Vanilla essence 1 tsp Red food color as required ( I used ½ tsp gel + 1tsp powdered color ) Cream Cheese Sponge Unsalted butter 100g Cream cheese 200g Icing Sugar 200g Vanilla essence ½ tsp Red Buttercream frosting Unsalted butter 300g Icing sugar 250g Condensed Milk ½ Cup Vanilla essence ½ tsp I used 8" round cake pan for this recipe.
