Glaude Jr. The book explores the 200-year history of Charleston’s Mother Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church. Following the conversation, the Mother Emanuel Choir, led by Dr. Wayne Singleton, will perform a choral program that reflects the church’s history through song.
