International B414 Bonnet Repair | Fabricating a Patch Panel

Welcome back to Kirsten’s Garage! 🔧 In this video, I’m working on my International B414 tractor bonnet, fabricating a custom patch panel from scratch. I take you through the full process, from making the template and cutting it accurately, to making sure everything stays straight and true before forming. I’m using my bead roller to create a the shape, along with some hand forming and metal folder. This is all about practical metalwork — measuring carefully, cutting cleanly, and shaping steel to do exactly what you need it to do. Everything is done in my home garage in Northern Ireland, using hands-on techniques that anyone can learn with time and patience. There’s no rush here — just steady progress, problem-solving, and learning as I go. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about building skills, restoring old machinery, and making parts that last. If you’re into tractor restoration, metal fabrication, welding, or real DIY garage work, this one’s for you. 🔔 Subscribe to follow my full restoration journey: 👉 /@kirstensgarage 📲 Follow me here for more: 👉 All links in one place: beacons.ai/kirstensgarage 🧰 Tools used (Affiliate Links): Bead Roller used: https://amzn.to/3Roivl9 Metal Folder used: https://amzn.to/42JzJvN Angle Grinder used: https://amzn.to/4tK6zYj Hammer Dolly Set: https://amzn.to/4dGk4Cw Thanks for watching and supporting these home-built projects — every like, comment, and share helps the community grow. ❤️
