The two major routes are one via Nagercoil and the other via Ernakulam. In this journey, we'll be traveling via Ernakulam. KSRTC had recently launched Ambaari Utsav - Volvo 9600 on this route but due to less demand during weekdays, they have canceled the service and will be operated only during festivals and long weekends. Airavat Club Class on the other hand has been on this route on regular basis. The roads are narrow and highway expansion work is currently going on till Ernakulam hence catching up with time is a big deal these days but Ramesh sir who was the crew for our bus made it look simple with his amazing driving skills.
